Multiboxing Shaman
Without a doubt the most common class in WoW to see multiboxing is the shaman
class. Multiboxing shamans is so much fun and without a doubt still the best class for PvP in WoW. The reason why
so many people prefer to multibox shaman is because of there great burst damage and TOTEMS!
Lets assume you are multiboxing 5 shamans.
Earth Totem: First we have tremor totems, when you have 3 staggered (dropped within 1 sec of
each other) you are basically immune to fear. Tremor totems pulse every 3 seconds so with 3 staggered you have fear
being removed every second. The other 2 shamans could also drop a stoneskin and earthbind totem.
Fire Totem: At the very least one should be specced and always drop Totem of Wrath for obvious
reasons. As for the other 4, well 4 magma totems will do alot of damage to any enemies within melee range and
searing totems are also good to drop. Its not uncommon for me to see a searing totem get a killing blow on an
fleeing player. If your in arena then you also have the option to have one guy drop a Frost Resistance totem and
just use 3 dps totems for the others. 5 Fire Elementals are also very fun to drop in BGs and do insane damage.
Water Totem: Personally I prefer to stagger 3 cleansing totems as they pulse every second
like tremor totems so you have one poison and disease being removed every second. I will also drop a mana totem and
fire resistance totem. 5 healing streams are not that good for arena but may help a little in BGs.
Air Totem: Personally I like to have grounding totems all round but sometimes will use 3
grounding, nature resistance and a +5% Spell Haste Totem.
Shamans also have good burst through Flame Shock+Elemental Mastery+Lava Burst for instant
guaranteed Lava Burst crit.
On my shammys I have roughly 3400 SP with a totem of wrath of down. On targets with around 1000+
resilience I crit for 6-7k on Lava Burst. If you times this by 5x6000=30,000 Instant damage on a single target.
That's not including the initial damage already applied from the flame shock.
I also like to have engineer leveled on all to 400 for Rocket Gloves which also adds around 7-8k
instant damage (up to 10k with a few getting a critical hit).
On top of this great burst damage shamans also have a couple of good healing spells in Lesser
Healing Wave and Chain Heal.
