I have a 5 month old gateway computer dual core media ready with a nvidia card running win 7 and when I play World of Warcraft it lags and then it turns black and I have to reboot it. I called gateway and they said it is a software problem??? And they want to charge me to fix it when computer is under warranty? Does anyone know if this is true ? I sent an email to Blizzard but haven’t heard back yet. Is it a video card problem? It has only vben a problem recently and I’ve been playing Warcraft for 2 months.

If you have played it before without problems than it’s probably software problem. May be one of latest patches not working? Or you videocard driver became corrupt. How bout other games, have you tried running any? You can download some new game demo just to limit possible options to the minimum. It could be only WOW itself or Windows or videocard. May be system restore to an earlier point (before problem) will help? Don’t listen to other “helpers” that don’t like WOW, it’s not any worse than smoking or drinking and driving or collecting stamps, just a hobby, right? Happy leveling
Just dont go to the software company theyre trying to gyp you. also, get a mac. they work much better than pcs when playing wow
