Q&A: How to quit world of warcraft for good?
Question by invest: How to quit world of warcraft for good? I am having withdrawal symptoms from world of warcraft which I recently quit two months ago. I am trying to find something to replace it but nothing seems as entertaining. Things like guitar, reading, tennis, golf, art, chess, bicycling freeing, snowboarding, skateboarding, skiing, gushing-skiing, surfing, bowling just dont compare to being a wizard and exploring impossible worlds. I do all of these hobbies I listed, but now I am less satisfied than when I was playing world of warcraft. Are there any hobbies at all that are more fun than world of warcraft? Best answer:

I know you are hooked now lol. Comes out jan 11
Have you tried writing your own stories about exploring a world as a wizard. I always liked doing that.
there really isnt much else you can do besides that. It’s a game. those things are all real, and most are actually pretty cool. If riding a wave or playing a nasty riff isn’t better than WoW than i dont know what to tell you. Do a lot of social stuff, go out with friends.
You could start easy and just go find some other computer games, but no MMO’s.
I left wow about 10 months back, the first month was kinda annoying since I wanted to know what was going on. But now. I just don’t even think about it. I’ve filled with my time with more productive hobbies like wargaming and modelling. (specifically getting back into Warhammer :p )
For maximum quitting. Delete the account if you haven’t already. Or get a friend to change the password to something else so you can’t access your account avoiding a relapse. Playing the game isn’t bad if it doesn’t control your life. But if you found yourself on it from morning to night like I use to them yea, stay away from it.
Delete all of your characters or play runescape
Your perspective needs to change. As long as you think WoW is the most entertaining thing to do, it IS the most entertaining thing to do (as that is something subjective). Therefore, until you find something as intriguing and captivating as Warcraft, you will always be thinking of it.
I would suggest joining a sports team if you are still young enough to be in school, as that will give you something to do right after school (practice) and give you something to do on weekends (be it hang out with teammates, practice, or games). If you are old enough, try to find someone to date. Both of those options is a whole lot more fun than wasting time in front of a computer for several hours a day (im a Craft addict myself, but still maintain a rigorous exercise routine and strict eating plan).
well to make sure you don’t go back delete all your characters and cancel your subscription.then uninstall the game. i think honestly your thinking about it too much. just wipe it out of your mind that it exist. create new challenges for yourself with the hobbies you already do.
