Question by Samuel Sanchez: help with dual boxing in wow?
Is dual boxing in WOW dead? I tried doing it using Pwnboxer and keyclone. It will lag like hell and crash. Had no problems before Cata updates were installed. Is there a way to multibox in 4.01?

Im just using this video to see if this works.. Ive tied to show both screens at once but if i use HyperCam the quality is horable soo… if this works ill make a vid on how to dual box =) all the vids are going to show the 2nd character so that the character that i acctually play dosn’t lag.. Decided may aswell stick this up even tho there seems to be alot of these vids up (a few boxers aswell) Pretty easy kill tbh regardless of gear etc free frost badges and gold, nice. in this video is druid tank and shaman dps + healer also ran this with my old warlock. cant moan at 2 frost badges for 2 mins work ;P
For the first time i ran into a multi-boxer during battlegrounds in WoW. The first encounter was in AV where the Multiboxer parked himself in Drek’s Room (and, incredibly, our own multi-boxer came to save the day). The second encounter was in WSG the next evening, which as you can see made getting the flag very difficult.

I am about to get a second account, but does anyone know how it works? I do have a Mac, which I know should be able to do it, but I am just unclear on how to do it.
Also, is it a bannable offense by Blizzard?

edit: I misread, ok with one computer you want to have two windows set up, one for each character. And you probably can’t play both at the same time, but you’ll just use whichever one you need at the moment, constantly swithcing from one to the other, and when you move just set one to follow the other. Maybe have one be a healer and the other a tank so you can heal your group and keep the healer from getting killed. Basically a healer and something. It is not a bannable offense by Blizzard as long as your own both accounts.

I need help with my two dual boxing warlocks. Right now they’re 25 and I have a lvl 80 too powerleveling them thru dungeons. As alliance.. Will u give me a litttle guide or answer that tells me the level I should do a certain dungeon. Also my warlocks are RAF linked so the get triple exp. Pls tell me what instances I should run and at what level yo another level. Thx best answer will be given

Here’s the thing about powerleveling using dual box…its very tricky. You have to find a spot to leave your lowbie toons at a spot where they don’t pull while gaining xp. I’m glad they were 25 cuz DM is a nightmare with scouts and all. Depending on the instance setting them up to follow is tricky as AoE mobs could hit em hard.
The next step up I believe is stockades in SW. Very easy to powerlevel. You can just leave them in the beginning steps of instance and just clear the whole room, from the them up to the next area. No walking around scouts. Have them both use voidwalkers and set to defend just in case they get some aggro.
Gnomeregan for whatever reason will be your greatest challenge as mobs are in close distance with each other. Make sure you have demon armor on both. If you are a pally you are very blessed as this will help aaalot. Healing, Devotion Aura and Cleanse is very helpful in this instance.
Now Scarlet Monastery is somewhat of a difficulty but i’m sure the “leaving the kids at daycare” sort of routine can work there with no problem. Make sure they are gaining xp and the only way to do it is check every now and then the distance and to look at their screens.
Doing all three instances and you’re bound to reach 40 in no time. Grant a level is a blessing in disguise as well as the triple xp when both locks are at the same level (If you RAF one to another).
