Question by David Henley: How to multi-box in WOW for free?
I know keyclone and other similar products have the features I want. Such as keystroke broadcasting and multiple windows where one is large and the others are beside it without being inc active I would use clonekeys although I have a pc and I can’t. I know octopus offers the features I want but I can’t find a current url to download it. Any help would be appreciated.

I just started to 3 box a couple weeks ago. I use keyclone from solidice.com.

Keyclone passes keystrokes to multiple windows at the same time. And there are a lot of nice features like black/white lists for keys, round robin (key passes to 1 window each keystroke) and it also comes with picture in picture where you can swap out alt windows for the main window. It costs

but I didn’t find anything free that did the same thing. Blizzard has confirmed on their forums this program does not violate the ToS and is legal to use.

Question by Suzie: Does anyone know about any good free multiboxing software for WOW?
I need to find something that is easy to use and free. Also, is there any way this software can have viruses/keyloggers in it? I was checking out one, and it asked for my computer’s IP address, which I thought was kind of weird. (I don’t want to loose my WOW accounts). Thanks for your help.

I’ve not heard of a safe free multiboxing software for WoW. Keyclone is one of the most popular I’ve heard of but costs about . This type of software, especially if you’re searching for free versions, can easily contain malware that would make your account unsafe. Make sure to scan them with a good anti-spyware, and anti-virus program before trying them.
The one asking for your IP most likely needed it to communicate key commands throughout the LAN. One suggestion I have, if you do find the program you’re looking for and begin multiboxing, is to create all accounts with the same owner information. If you use separate names on the registration, Blizzard may close the accounts. Good luck!
